Half Day STEAM Workshops at Lee H. Kellogg Elementary
November 6, January 15, March 4
Students in grades K-8 are invited to an afterschool science meets art experience on their upcoming half-days. Chemistry of Chromotagraphy, Physics Snow Ramp Challenge, Geology and Art. Space is limited, advance registration is required and each workshop is $15 payable to the school.
STEAM Club at Salisbury Central School Fall 2019

Students in 3rd-5th grade will explore 3D design and printing and bioplastics in this 6-week series. Registration is handled through the SOAR program and is now closed.
Animate it! at SBRSD
Fridays afterschool-4:30pm
November 1 – December 13
Using iPads and a lot of creativity 4th and 5th grade students will write scripts, design sets, arrange lighting, and produce their own stop-motion animations. Other MakerSpace activities this session may include coding and 3D design. Registration is now closed.
Robotics at Farmington River School District
September 27, October 4, Octover 11
Students in 4th-6th grades build, design, and code robots using the Lego EV3 or NXT system. In doing so they practice creative problem-solving and learn about concepts in physics and technology. This will run for 3 sessions: 9/27, 10/4, and 10/11.
